Catherine had lost the lower part of her left leg and was suffering from a chronic illness called lupus. So there were a number of barriers Catherine had to overcome to gain open employment.

Jobmatch offers professional assistance to find the right job through career guidance and planning, support in preparing resumes and application letters, programs to develop interview and presentation skills, individual training at the workplace and worksite support as required.

To qualify for Jobmatch assistance you need to fulfil several simple criteria: Aged between 15-64 years of age, have a disability and are willing to travel to either Parramatta, Bankstown or Penrith, have marketable vocational skills or a willingness to acquire them, comply with Centrelink guidelines for access to a specialised employment service.
