Jobmatch Home

Jobmatch provides services that bring together employers and job seekers in a mutually beneficial workplace agreement.

An employee with a disability is more likely to stay longer in the job, is less likely to cause OHS issues and takes less sick leave. Higher levels of employer loyalty, and better productivity makes for reduced HR and recruitment overheads.

Jobmatch is a free, specialised employment service which assists people with disabilities or barriers to find employment opportunities in the open labour market. Established in 1992 for jobseekers who wanted to overcome the barriers of disability, make use of their skills and abilities in the workforce and earn at least award-based wages, Jobmatch has developed strong links with employers.

Large companies like Australia Post, The Department of Gaming and Racing, ParaQuad, and ADT Security as well as small businesses like The Christmas Warehouse and The Post Polio Network all share the commitment to achieving success by matching the skills of the person to the requirements of the job.

Jobmatch jobseekers have found work in many fields including administration, customer service, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and warehousing, travel and information technology. Jobs range from entry level to professional positions. Jobmatch support also includes career development which assists jobseekers to gain new skills, wider experience and promotions.
